Since 2012, Tyson and Sable Degenhardt have been involved in tree planting and forestry operations throughout Canada. Their commitment to delivering high-quality work while cultivating meaningful relationships with clients and crews has been a cornerstone of their success. In 2022, after years of industry experience and a proven track record, they founded Aspen Forestry Ltd.

Aspen Forestry is a forest management and reforestation company specializing in tree planting and silviculture surveys. Our diverse skills include slash pile burning, mountain pine beetle surveys, quality inspection, environmental monitoring, ESC, soil sampling, brushing and more. Since our founding, we have collaborated with provincial governments, local logging companies, mills, and First Nations groups to plant trees and take part in sustainably managing forests in Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia.

Safety is paramount at Aspen Forestry. Employees are required to obtain certifications in relevant skills, including Standard First Aid, CPR, H2S Alive, WHMIS, TDG, and Bear Safety Training, depending on their roles. We prioritize injury prevention training and provide our team with the necessary resources and guidance to ensure a safe working environment. We are currently pursuing COR certification with the AFPA and take pride in maintaining an incident-free record with WCB across all provinces since our inception.
