Since 2012, Tyson and Sable Degenhardt have built extensive experience in tree planting and forestry operations across Canada. Their commitment to delivering high-quality work, building strong client relationships, and creating a positive and productive crew culture has been central to their success in the industry.

In 2022, they founded Aspen Forestry Ltd., bringing together years of hands-on experience and a proven track record. Today, Aspen Forestry works with provincial governments, logging companies, mills, and First Nations communities across Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia.

Aspen Forestry is a forest management and reforestation company specializing in tree planting, silviculture surveys, slash pile burning, and quality inspection and control for a variety of projects. Since our founding, we have also supported pipeline and transmission line clearing projects, providing environmental monitoring, erosion and sediment control (ESC), organization and supervision of woody debris burning, and detailed recordkeeping to ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with project and regulatory requirements.

Safety is paramount at Aspen Forestry. We are COR certified through the Alberta Forest Products Association and take pride in maintaining a strong WCB record across all provinces where we operate since our inception.

We ensure our employees receive the training and certifications appropriate to their roles, which may include Standard First Aid and CPR, H2S Alive, WHMIS, TDG, and Bear Safety Training. Aspen Forestry provides the training, resources, supervision, and guidance necessary for employees to perform their work safely and effectively.
